We Mad Climb Shaky Ladders

"The poet's ability to examine her behavior is both edifying and harrowing." ~Baron Wormser
Pamela Spiro Wagner is an accomplished writer, artist and poet who has mental health challenges. She shares her experiences in her poetry and http://wagblog.wordpress.com/author/wagblog/ - the link for her pupular blog.

After a lifetime of psychiatric disability, Pamela Spiro Wagner co-authored DIVIDED MINDS: Twin Sisters and Their Journey Through Schizophrenia (St Martins Press, 2005) with her identical twin sister, Carolyn S. Spiro, MD, a psychiatrist. There are now and have always been people like Pam who made valuable contributions to society despite mental illness. No one deserves to be incarcerated for having a common, treatable health condition.
